What is Inner Child therapy?

Inner Child therapy, otherwise known as regression therapy is an approach to treatment. That focuses on resolving significant past events believed to be interfering with a person’s present mental and emotional wellness. As children, our emotional growth can be stunted by the environment we find ourselves in. Governed initially by the beliefs and values of our primary caregivers and their patterns of learnt behavior. Over time we develop distorted beliefs about who we are, what we are capable of, and so on. By revisiting the inner child we are able to give them back the voice they were unable to exert as a child.

What can it help?

Literally everything… From not sleeping to reducing PMT symptoms. Everything that you were taught or witnessed as a child, that you took on as your own but isn’t truly aligned with who you are. This therapy is particularly potent with self-value, worth, and confidence issues.
